Myths and Legends

This month we’re busting myths and celebrating Urology legends!

We’re delighted to join forces with Convatec and The Urology Foundation for September’s Urology Awareness Month. We kicked off the month with the healthcare awareness marketing campaign: “Myths and Legends,” aiming to bust the common myths and shine a spotlight on the true legends of urology health.

Our mission? To promote early detection, bust myths and inspire everyone to have open conversations about urological health. We’ve whipped up a range of educational materials that highlight the importance of addressing urological issues early on. With our partners, we’re tackling misconceptions head-on, covering everything from bladder health to kidney stones, urological cancers, and the vital role of hydration. We want everyone to take charge of their health—after all, it’s time to “be a legend” and seek that medical advice when something’s not right below the belt.

We’re thrilled to play a key role in this initiative, creating impactful educational content that The Urology Foundation will showcase throughout the month. This includes a powerful tribute video celebrating the dedicated medical and scientific teams advancing urology care—true “legends” in their own right! Plus, we’ve designed eye-catching infographics and posters focusing on “Hydration and Sport,” to help everyone understand how to maintain urological health while staying active.

Our support for Urology Awareness Month showcases our commitment to health and well-being, highlighting that early detection and treatment of urological conditions are crucial. We believe in doing good by doing well, and this initiative is a perfect fit.

By encouraging people to speak up about their health, we’re fostering healthier communities and tackling the stigma around urological conditions. “We’re proud to support Urology Awareness Month  and acknowledge the legends that are the healthcare professionals working tirelessly to support people with urology conditions every day.” says Kate Cox, MD of dewinter.

“Join us as we champion urology health this month and beyond. Together, we’re breaking those barriers and leading the way for a world where urological conditions are spotted and treated early. Spread the word and get involved!”
